Looking for Sub-Contractors
Underground Buried Telecommunication Sub-Contractors (last
updated 7/19/2011):
We are interested in receiving applications from contractors
for possible future sub-contract work. Will be unit pricing.
Must be able to meet all insurance requirements, however these requirements
have not been relayed to us at this time. This is an application
review process only, no work is being offered at this time. We will

Open Positions:
Outside Plant Supervisor (last updated 7/19/2011):
We are currently reviewing applications for an additional
Outside Plant Supervisor. Position will likely be a salaried job with
reimbursed expenses, including fuel and motel. Looking for experience
with overseeing directional drilling crews as well as plow and clean-up
crews. Should be familiar with the various states' One-Call systems,
calling in and keeping up valid locate tickets. Please fax

General Laborers (last updated 5/19/2011)

short notice and your application may be picked up. However, we have a
large number of applicants for general laborers and are not actively
searching for positions at this time.
Work Locations:
Our main office is located in Young Harris, Georgia.
We work throughout most of the southeast, mostly in Georgia, South Carolina,
North Carolina. We also regularly work in Alabama and Mississippi. A
large portion of planned work will be in upstate South Carolina.
Drill crews work 5 days a
week. Labor crews and plow crews generally only work 4 days a week.

All employees and sub-contractors are expected to know and follow the
policies described in our company handbook.
For employees, download and fill out the following forms, then mail, fax,
or deliver them back to us. We may not be hiring now, but we keep
applications on file as employees come and go. We work 50 hour work
weeks, from 7am to 5pm M-F. Friday is usually all overtime.

IRS W4 Form for
new employees. (Can fill out online and print

Georgia G4 Form for
new employees. Our
business operates out of the State of Georgia and under Georgia law, all
payroll is subject to Georgia withholdings.
Dept. of Homeland Security Employment
Eligibility Verification, I-9 form (will need copy of driver's license and
Soc. Sec. Card) (Can fill out online and print
out.)
You will not be employed by Southern Pipeline until the signing of the
Employment Contract which will be supplied at the time of hire.
Filling out and submitting the above forms does not obligate applicant to
Southern Pipeline or vice versa. Southern Pipeline reserves the right
to not hire any applicant.
